So, I got my grades in, and drum roll please. Your girl has straight A's for the first six week summer session. Whoop! Whoop!
I am on week 2 of A&P 1, and whoo chile what a whirl wind. This is an accelerated 6 week summer course so we are moving triple time. What you typically learn over the course of 3 weeks I am learning in 1 week. It's a lot of information, but I'm learning so much. For A&P 1 LAB I have completed the following:
For A&P LECTURE I have exam 1 of 3 on Friday. I am spending all of my time and energy focused on passing this test. My study guide is 37 pages long, and I have learned so much just putting it together. This is going to be another successful semester. I can feel it deep down in my bones.

Waiting for grades is painful. Even if you know exactly what you are going to get seeing the actual grades posted to your unofficial transcript is everything. I just checked the grades in my course for human growth and development and I scored a 99.80 overall. I had 7.50 points in extra credit. Technically I didn't have to do the extra credit but you never know.
I already knew I had A's in chemistry and the lab, but I really just want to see the grades posted officially. I wonder if they are going to post today which is the last day of the semester or wait until next week. Pray for me people. It's a beautiful day to be alive people. Today I took my final for Human Growth and Development and I got an A it pretty much solidifying my A in the class. Just in case I did take the extra credit quiz and got myself an additional 7.25 points.
Proud ain't even the word baby. I'm still waiting for the official grades to be posted but it looks like my first 6 weeks is going to be straight A's =) Let's ride this A wave straight through the second 6 week summer session where I tackle Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 with the Lab. This girl right here ya'll! I took my chemistry lab final on Thursday, and scored an 80%. The final was 20% of my grade. My lab reports scored so high that my overall grade for the class is an A. I am so proud of myself. I had two labs that were mind boggling. When I say mind boggling I mean hours of work. Tons of googling. Tons of watching YouTube videos. Re watching the lecture. Going through the lecture book. Trying to teach myself.
It was all worth it though. I haven't taken Chemistry since high school, and 15 years later I'm getting A's in college level chemistry. I am so proud of myself. On June 13th I start A&P1. That's the next challenge I'm ready to overcome with an A of course. Stay tuned for a video on how to get an A in Chemistry and the lab. XOXO, T |
